SFU Harvest Box

The SFU Harvest Box is a program for students, faculty and staff who want to purchase fresh, local, and quality produce at affordable prices.

For over a year the SFU Harvest Box Program has made eating vegetables and fruits more fun, convenient, meaningful and affordable. Thanks to your feedback, we are adapting the program to better suit everyone’s needs!

Beginning in April 2010, staff and students can choose between two different boxes:.

The Local Organic Box

  • All local, seasonal, organic produce!
  • Support local growers and sustainable agricultural methods
  • Farm profiles featured in each newsletter – - meet your maker!
  • Helps to support your community and keep both boxes going!

The Value Box

  • Subsidized program designed to make eating fruits and veggies more affordable
  • Geared towards students and folks on a budget
  • As local as possible, but imported stuff when it’s a good deal
  • Helps people save money!

Why not try both?

Many customers tell us they love the Harvest Box so much that they just can’t wait a whole month for their next one! By offering two different boxes, we’re now able to provide biweekly delivery. Become a customer of both boxes for convenient access to fresh fruits and veggies every two weeks!
