SFU Local Food Project

The SFU Pocket Market has come to a close for the second season. But have no fear! There are plenty of winter markets this winter to satisfy your local food needs! Click here for information on the one that has all of your favorites from SFU and that is closest to the Burnaby campus.

What is a Pocket Market? The SFU Local Food Project is partnered with the Coquitlam Farmers Market to buy fresh, locally grown produce from farmers in the Fraser Valley and Okanagan. This produce is sold for the farmers at SFU, allowing farmers to spend more time in the fields.  For more information about pocket markets, visit Victoria’s Food Roots website.  The market is located in Town Square (next to Cornerstone and the upper bus loop).
